What is Ad animation length definition ?

The animation length refers to the duration of animation through sequential images within an ad loop.

IAB guidelines and publishers’ ad specs often fix the max animation length at 15s.

If the max loop is 2 for a max length of 15s the overall animation length is 30s.

Animation length is used mainly for Flash ads and sometimes for GIF. For video ads the term is video length.
