Ad frame rate refers to the speed at which video frames or animated images (Flash, GIF) display as the video or animated file executes.
Frame rate is measured as the number of frames per second (fps).
A max frame rate is specified by IAB guidelines and publishers’ ad specs.
The max frame rate promoted by IAB is 24 fps, but it can sometimes be lower on publisher ad specs.
The higher the frame rate, the heavier the file is for the same animation length.
