What is Attribution modeling definition ?

Strictly speaking attribution modeling can be defined as the art of creating an attribution model which gives credit for each channel or touch point contributing to a conversion and which gives the fair share for each channel.

Attribution modeling is then practised by top of the notch agencies and analytic services.

In a broader sense, attribution modeling can be viewed as choosing the best attribution model among attribution options offered by an analytic solution.
