What is Cross-device analytics definition ?

Cross-device analytics is a way of taking into account cross-device browsing and behaviors in web analytics analysis.

Cross-device analytics allows to have an idea about how unrelated touchpoints, sessions, and interactions are connected across multiples devices.

It can be used to study the conversion path on a given website from multiple devices and different visits or to measure cross-device attribution for different touchpoints.

Cross-device analytics may be based on Google user’s logins or website logins. For more details, see cross-device identification and cross-device visitor identification.
