What is Cross-device conversion definition ?

A cross-device conversion is a conversion resulting from a consumer using different devices before purchasing or converting.

There are two types of cross-device conversion paths.

In the first, the conversion occurs after several visits on a single website from multiple devices.

For the second type, the conversion happens after different marketing touchpoints on different devices. For instance, a consumer search a product on his smartphone while commuting and buy the product later at home on his desktop or tablet.
