What is Owned media definition ?

Owned media is a term generally used for referring to the POEM representation which differentiates paid, owned and earned media.

As the name suggests, owned media are sources of media exposures that are owned and controlled by the company.

Online owned media are:
- company’s website and other owned websites
- Facebook, Twitter accounts and other social media accounts
- email newsletters
- company’s blog
- mobile apps
- ...

Offline owned media are:
- company’ offices
- stores
- consumer magazine
- fleet of vehicules
- ...
