What is PPC definition ?

PPC stands for Pay Per Click in digital advertising context. Most often, Pay Per Click refers to PPC search ads but it can also refer to all kinds of ads charged to advertisers on a pay per click basis.

Other kinds of PPC ads are:
- site retargeting ads
- social media ads (Sponsored Tweets, Facebook posts and ads,...)
- ads on GMail interface
- display ads via by AdWords and other PPC ad networks
- in-text ads
- etc.
