What is Paid media definition ?

Paid media is a term generally used for referring to the POEM representation which differentiates paid, owned and earned media.

In this case online paid media are:
- display ads
- ppc ads
- social ads
- email through list broking
- affiliate programs
- SEO (SEO can be viewed as earned or paid media)

When the model in enlarged to offline media, paid media are also classic advertising and marketing channels:
- TV commercials
- outdoor advertising
- direct mail
- ....
