The push marketing, or push strategy, is the process of pushing the product towards consumers.

Push marketing actions can be done directly towards consumers or through the distribution intermediary.

Examples of "traditional" push marketing actions:

- Fair and show participation
- Sample distribution
- Promotions in distribution with highlighted products
- Beach tour, highways animations
- Deployment of field sales force
- ...

The term marketing push led to new uses in the field of digital marketing. Some actions of digital push marketing are:
