What is Registration targeting definition ?

Registration targeting is the process by which ad deliveries are targeted to specific audiences according to informations they have indicated while registering with the publisher website.

Most often registration targeting is based upon demographic data (age, gender, location, etc). Webmail services like Hotmail or Yahoo are typical sites offering demographic targeting through registration targeting.

The publisher’s ad server must be connected with registration data for enabling registration targeting.
