What is Semantic advertising definition ?

Semantic advertising is the most evolved form of contextual advertising.

Semantic targeting goes beyond simple contextual targeting based on keyword detection. It allows to analyse the meaning of webpage text and to have more precise targeting.

For instance, with real and efficient semantic advertising if a brand is criticised on a page, an ad for that brand should not be displayed.
